Freak Heat Waves announce Canadian tour, release “Design of Success” video

FHWCanadian post-punk fans rejoice! One of Western Canada’s finest offerings, Freak Heat Waves, is hitting both coasts this summer. They released their acclaimed second album, Bonnie’s State of Mind, on Hockey Dad Records last February, and they’re taking it from their home in Victoria to as far as Halifax where they’ll pull a two-night stand.

Freak Heat Waves have also released a video for album cut “Design of Success”. Besides a few flashing lights and closeups of their album art, the clip, which shows the band working in the studio, remains faithful to their largely no-frills aesthetic.
