Kristie McCracken to play album release show at the Alexander

cherseaKristie McCracken is best known for singing and playing guitar in Vancouver R&B group the Ponderosas, but she is getting ready to put out her first solo album, Let Go & Grow. She’ll celebrate her personal and professional milestone with a show at the Alexander on Saturday, May 30, along with dance pop musician CHERSEA.

Let Go & Grow was produced by Patrick Quine, member of local reggae outfit Natural Flavas and founder of Watson Unlimited Music. The album also features a song she co-wrote with three-time Grammy-winner Chin Injeti. Songs like “Lullaby” are heavily Latin-influenced while others drip with the soul she’s made her signature.

Visit Kristie McCracken’s YouTube channel for more music. Tickets for the show are available at Red Cat, Zulu, and Neptune Records and online for $12 ($15 at the door).
