Neu Balance Release Two New Tracks, Prep Debut Full-Length

Neu_Balance_-_Rubber_Sole_750_750_90_sVancouver electronic duo Neu Balance have risen almost in tandem over the past two years with local cassette imprint 1080p. While praise for 1080p as one of the most exciting new purveyors of underground electronic music has been steadily growing late this year, Neu Balance may not be far behind: they are about to make their biggest move yet with the release of their much-anticipated debut full-length, the cleverly titled Rubber Sole. Out January 6, Rubber Sole will be the label’s first release of the New Year.

As that date approaches, Neu Balance have unveiled two uncluttered, downtempo tracks: the drafty “Guu Yuu”, out last week, and the gently radiant “Better Off Alone” that’s punctuated by down-pitched sighs and grunts, out now.

Stream both songs below, and pre-order the 12-track cassette at 1080p’s Bandcamp.
