Weed sign to Lefse, announce new LP + free show at Zulu Records

2015 looks to be a year of unprecedented growth for sludgy Vancouver favourites Weed. The band has emerged from a state of relative dormancy with a sudden lump of announcements. They’ve signed with Portland’s Lefse Records to release their second LP, Running Back, on April 7. They’ve also debuted the album’s first single, “Thousand Pounds”, which will appear as a 7″ due February 24, also on Lefse. Finally, the band will kick off a West Coast tour with a free, all-ages single-release show at Zulu Records on Thursday, February 5, along with their Seattle buddies, the futuristic grunge trio So Pitted.

Running Back tracklist:

1. “Muscles”
2. “Stay in the Summer “
3. “Thousand Pounds”
4. “Meet Me With Ease”
5. “Depending On”
