The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts presents the captivating duo, Severn Cullis-Suzuki & Tanya Tagaq, October 16-17 at 7:30pm in the intimate Telus Studio Theatre at the Chan Centre (6265 Crescent Road.) Severn Cullis-Suzuki is not only a passionate environmentalist; she is also an author, scientist and television host of the APTN series Samaqan – Water Stories. As a musician, Tanya Tagaq brings traditional Inuit throat singing to the mainstream with her unparalleled and dazzling performances. She will be joined onstage by JUNO-award winning musician, Jesse Zubot. This is a not-to-be-missed collaboration that reflects their mutual respect for the land and heritage that forged them.
