Brooklyn art-punk duo Japanther joins the wave of bands putting creative twists on lyric videos. Hands (presumably members Ian Vanek’s and Matt Reilly’s) scrawl the lyrics in Sharpie on mail stickers and then tag them on sign posts, walls, the side of an ATM, and even a motorbike and a claw crane. As a band that has a soft spot for low fidelity, it’s always welcome to be able to discern Japanther’s lyrics. The cool graffiti-like penmanship is a nice touch, too.
