Dustin Bentall was raised on the music of Neil Young, The Band, Bob Dylan, Tom T. Hall, The Beatles and Steve Earle – Ben Rogers writes ballads about murder stories, love stories, salvation stories, tragic stories, and everything in between. Bring the two together and you’re in for a night full of foot-stomping alt-country & dark, moody folk. Throw in Ryan Boldt – of Saskatchewan’s Deep Dark Woods – to add a grungy twist to the line-up, and you’re guaranteed a perfectly stacked line-up running the gamut of just what ‘folk’ is in 2014.
