Vancouver artists IAMTHELIVING (Rian Peters) and Teon Gibbs have dropped their second collaboration “Puppa” after the success of their first single “Between The Groove.”
“We decided to join forces to create tracks that would make people want to dance…and bring people together,” says Peters. “We feel that our music is going to do exactly that.”
Peters is originally from London, England but now calls Vancouver home. Gibbs also found success in Canada after his move to Vancouver from Botswana. Together they are motivated and inspired by the lifestyle of the west coast.
Of the collaboration, Peters says, “There needs to be more cross-genre collaborations in Vancouver; more black voices uniting and creating music together. To be real. We just need more positive energy to get us through these crazy times!”
