Get Stuffed Premiere Review

The debut of the newest show on OLN was celebrated last Tuesday at The Forum on Granville St.  All eyes were on the many screens of this popular sports bar as Get Stuffed was shown to the eager viewers, writers and producers at 5pm and again at 6pm following the world premiere of this outrageously fun show. Get Stuffed is an exciting, fast-paced show that follows four fearless individuals as they travel across North America battling it out in the most wacky and bizarre competitions known to man. Erin Simms, Josh Rice, Ryan “6 Pack” Lapadat and Kalyn Miles all have to test their boundaries as they throw themselves in these outlandish contests that require some skills, persistence and a good sense of humour. Each week, two of the four competitors will have to prove that they are in it to win it as the fight so they won’t have to “get stuffed”. In each episode, the two contestants not only have to compete but also have to prepare to chow down a heaping plate of grease or anything that is vomit inducing if or when they lose. Besides training and taking part in the competition, part of their task is to scout the local area for interesting culinary delights as their punishment meal but we’re not talking about gourmet food here served in small quantities. From the famous pig’s ear sandwiches known as the “Quadruple Bypass Burger” to cow testicles, the loser will definitely have to step their game up or stomach the punishment meal. This 13-episode, 30 minute series is action packed as we watch the competitors participate in contests such as greased pig racing in Quebec and chicken beauty pageants in Alabama, Get Stuffed takes the viewers on a hilarious, enjoyable ride. In the show’s premiere episode, Kalyn and Erin traveled to Chandler, Arizona to compete against each other through ostrich racing. The first part of the race got the two girls to ride the ostrich bare back and whoever stays on longer wins. While trying to figure out how to balance on a 250 lb. bird, both girls were in search of the best punishment meal they can find in Alabama. Erin chose “The Deuce”, a sandwich with two full pounds of beef topped with cheeses, bacon, ham, two fried eggs, beer-battered onion rings, avocado, BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato and red onion, in between three grilled cheese sandwiches served with one pound of french fries and one pound onion rings and Kalyn went for the “Anchors Aweigh”, a giant anchor shaped calzone stuffed full of pizza toppings and alligator meat. In the first part of the race, Kayln proved that she could balance on a big bird that can go on a speed of 70 km per hour but the Erin claimed the glory winning the ostrich chariot race that surpassed Kayln’s total time. Losing the battle, Kayln had to conquer Erin’s pick and the episode’s punishment meal, “The Deuce”. Airing every Tuesdays at 9pm ET/6pm PT, this original series produced by Worldwide Bag Media will make your Tuesday nights more enjoyable. Check out Get Stuffed’s next episode as the two boys head to the remote northern community in Manitoba to put their outdoorsman skills to the test and watch the loser “get stuffed”
