The last time we’d heard from the Canadian indie icon known as Hayden was all the way back in 2009, and despite some online rumours to the contrary, he’s still very much alive. By the look of things, 2013 is shaping up to be a comeback year as he’s returned from his four year hiatus to kick off a North American tour in March in support of his seventh album, Us Alone. The first single, “Rainy Saturday”, serves as a great introduction for those who don’t know him, and those who do will notice some clues as to what he had been up to during his hiatus (hint: parenthood). Hayden is coming to play the Rio Theatre on March 23 with Lou Canon; don’t miss the chance to see the famously reclusive rocker live in Vancouver, as there’s no telling when he’ll be back again.
