The new video for “Carried Away” is just one more reason to get passionate about Passion Pit, starring their lead vocalist Michael Angelakos and (One Tree Hill’s) Sophia Bush. With a playful unconventionality inspired by Jean Luc Godard, the video is like a mini movie of a young couple around the house, complete with story and subtitles. But these aren’t your normal subtitles as they interactively illustrate the power of words, and what can happen when carried away. The last year has been monumental for the band, and with the second single off Gossamer, their latest critically acclaimed album, Passion Pit is poised and positioned to be one of 2013’s breakout successes.
