Feeding People is headed by 19 year old Jessie Jones, a vocal powerhouse with some vicious pipes that have drawn comparisons to a young Grace Slick (of Jefferson Airplane) and Janis Joplin. Equally impressive is that this group of teenagers, who just dropped their sophomore album last February, has already shared the stage with Thom Yorke. Feeding People’s new video for “Big Mother” is a minute and a half dose of heavy psychedelic rock for those hungry for some new tunes to trip to, and it features the titular mother smoking cigarettes and reading pulp romance as she bakes cookies for her young son.
