Snowblink’s new video for “Inner Mini-Mississippi” is something a little different from all the usual big budget music video productions we see these days, and it seems to relish its charmingly back to basics style. Shot in what looks like a single room, the video focuses on the hypnotic hula-hooping of two young women to Snowblink’s song, and it climaxes with everybody hooping it up. The Toronto-based duo has been making waves in the Canadian indie scene lately, having spent much of last year touring with fellow Canadians Feist and Cold Specks. Don’t miss the chance to catch Snowblink’s alluring and laidback brand of folk-pop when they stop by Vancouver’s Railway Club on April 28.
