For some more local flavor, Dirty Radio are an up-and-coming R&B trio hailing from this beautiful city we call home. The art direction of their new video for “Lost at Sea” shares stylistic flourishes with some of the Weeknd’s projects, with its trippy mixture of constantly moving, otherworldly landscapes and geometric shapes. The song features the guitar work of fellow Canadian Ryan Dahle (of Limblifter and Age of Electric), with the video being shot in South Korea. 2013 will be a busy year for Dirty Radio as they are playing Toronto’s Canadian Music Week festival and have also been nominated for Best Pop Artist/Group of the Year at the Indies, an awards show for independent Canadian talent.
