“Put a Light On” was the first song I’d heard from The Generationals and it made me immediately check their tour listings for a Vancouver stop. Seems I have to be at the Biltmore on June 13th. The song has a synthy electronic beat to it with Dirty Projectors-ish vocals, making the music hard to define genre wise, which, according to their myspace page, is “acousmatic tape music”. Whatever that means, it will put you in a great mood and is pure ear candy in the most addictive sense.
