Jon Hopkins is a UK producer and master of ambient electronica. Hopkins has just released the second video from his Mercury Prize-nominated album, Immunity. Featuring the haunting vocals of Megan James, from Canadian synthpop group Purity Ring, “Breathe This Air” is as soothing and tranquil as the isolated expanse of wilderness in which the video takes place. The director, Anthony Dickenson, was inspired by those times when we think we are completely alone, lost in our own thoughts, only to be unexpectedly disrupted, in a single, defining moment.
