In Junip’s latest video, we see an old man, haunted by his past, and stuck in a relationship that he may have never wanted in the first place. Through flashbacks we see glimpses of how it started, all under the watchful and constant eye of his overbearing father. There is an unnerving darkness that permeates this song, and the filmmaking style of director Mikel Cee Karlsson complements this amazingly well through his use of long shots and awkward stillness. The video ends on a cliffhanger, which is a tease that will only increase the buzz and anticipation for Junip and their new self-titled album, out on April 23.
