Natural Child’s latest video starts off with guitarist Seth Murray staring directly into the camera for an awkwardly long time as the band gets into the funky groove of their new single, “CRS Blues”. It tells the story of a guy just trying to get some late night loving where nothing is working out, hence the aforementioned blues. The Nashville trio’s sound is reminiscent of the classic Southern stoner rock of the 70s, and the country fried rhythms are complemented by the band’s back-to-basics approach, griminess, and varying degrees of facial hair. Known for their sense of humour, the band was apparently formed over a bowl of hash brownies, and these guys are making a name for themselves with their laidback garage rock. Check them out.
