“Love and Respect” is When Saints Go Machine’s first single off their sophomore album, Infinity Pool, and features the Copenhagen quartet doing an unexpected collaboration with Southern rapper Killer Mike on this dark and brooding synth-driven beat. The video paints a dystopian vision of the future where the last surviving revolutionary is being desperately hunted by the totalitarian authorities. “Love and Respect” has a tense atmosphere of chaos and doom that matches the vibe of the video which climaxes in a killer verse from Killer Mike, who has also been on a bit of a run himself as of late.
