It’s mid-January. It is raining so much you have built about 10 arcs and you have already ditched half your resolutions because let’s be real, no one really wants to eat that much kale. What do you really want to do on these dark and dreary days? You want to drink a mug of creamy hot chocolate. Put down that kale and get yourself to Hot Chocolate Fest!

The festival started this past Saturday, January 19th and runs until February 14th. There are 30 chocolate shops and cafes participating all over Vancouver. One must try the “Caramel Crackle & Pop” hot chocolate at Chocolate Arts. It is so deliciously decadent that (although the history books might not say so) it is most likely what Greek gods would drink if it was a chilly day up on Mount Olympus. Check it out for yourself and try some of their artisan chocolates while you are there!
